New obnoxious ads

I paid for this app and have been happy until this latest update. Now flashing, distracting ads are prominent. This was not what I paid for. Please remove ads promptly or return my money so that I can purchase a clean, functional email app.

Throwing away money

I used this app but when they do upgrades they remove the features you are using and then make them add ons you have to buy. Also if you buy add ons you lose them with upgrades and have to buy them again at higher prices than you originally paid for them. I recommend just using the official gmail app and log in and out if you have to, youll save a lot of headache.

Have to restore purchases daily

Passcode protection and restore of purchased seems to be finally staying. Took a few days. Good app!

Newest versions ads buggy

ads pay for the internet and Im willing to put up with them but the ones in this latest version are visually distracting and, more pointedly, some hijack the entire screen and refuse to dismiss. dont know if this is intentional or a bug but Im about to delete this formerly useful app.

Lasting bugs, new issues

This app is fairly robust, offering more than just gmail, with tabs for various modules of the google suite. But I got it for gmail. I was willing to overlook the fact that it seemed to have an error begging me to uninstall and reinstall 150 times over the past two years Ive had it (Ive done it and it makes no difference and there wasnt a problem in the first place) but the newest version has bar and pop up ads GALORE. This is my review as I look up an alternative for replacement. Thanks for the years of usability, but Im not going to click through ads to compose an email. Goodbye and best of luck.

Great Gmail app UNTILL ads were added!

Ive had this app for nearly 2 years and Ive happily upgraded to the annual push service twice now (which should entirely remove all ad banners) but recently ads keep hovering at the bottom of the screen which block parts of my screen visibility. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS, remove ads or youll soon lose several subscribers!

go through my wallet, its ok

I paid for the plus add on last year to get passcodes and turn off ads. My latest upgrade has branched the ad disabling into yet another purchase. I just find that scummy. I am sure it was a good business decision.

Upgrade and get ADS!?

One star for this "update". Id already paid not to have the ads banner. Now it is appearing and apparently I have to pay more to make it go away. Please, way to keep your base not happy. Ill be deleting and reinstalling my prior version thank you very much.

Gmail believer

Ive been very happy with iMailG for years, but for the past two weeks, its been full of ads. Ive re-installed and tried every suggestion I could find. Cant stand the latest release.

Bug: No ability to attach photos in iOS 8

Something went wrong with this most recent update. There is NO WAY to attach photos from your camera roll. The camera icon is supposed to show up next to the doodle icon, but nothing is there. *Running iOS 8 on the iPhone 6 Plus

Already Paid for Ad Removal, etc

When I bought this app in 2012 I paid for ad removal and push. Now after installing iOS 8 and updating the app the ads are back. I wont use apps with ads nor will I pay twice, time for a new app.

Excellent email backup

Had serious probs with Gmail access on my phone. Already had added this app on phone and was able to access Gmail via this app. Thank you!

In app menu does not work

The in app menu to open links or items has stopped working. Instead it opens another screen with the main inbox. Disappointed.

iMailG

Ive had this iMailG app for a long time and paid for add-on service, and generally its good. But each time there is an update, something goes wrong. I just updated to 10.6, and the app crashes upon opening under iOS 7.1.2. I cant upgrade to iOS 8 because I dont have enough space. Please fix for iOS 7.1 !!!

Don’t buy this app!

In order to get PUSH notifications you have to pay extra. Once you have it installed, you’ll undoubtedly get an error message with an FAQ that you have to go to in order to get it to work. Only problem is that none of the “tips” they give you work. Complete rip-off

WORTH THE MONEY!/ Update 12-01-14

12/01/14 Disappointed you want MORE money to remove ads now. For those who paid $15.99 years ago to have a lifetime membership, no ads should be part of that deal! Totally unhappy to date with this NEW ADDITIONAL charge! Found what I needed to remove banners with my lifetime paid app and LOVE IT just as much as before!! Does everything I need it to do to keep me organized!

Whats with the ads?

I already paid once to get rid of ads and now you want me to pay? Can anyone say major rip-off?

Lifetime payed user

I love the app, and Id love to pay money to the app. But I am a lifetime payed user, and asked to pay money again with new update.

Problems with v9.0.9

Two bugs since the latest update: 1) "Restore add-ons" does not eliminate the ads, even though I purchased "remove ads" previously. 2) The app keeps loading my "important and unread" box though I always keep it in my main inbox. Aside from those issues, its a good app.

Breaking Bad...

(Pun intended) Ads again?! Not for me... Also, newest version is buggy and constantly crashing. I am moving to a higher-rated app for email.
